About Steve: Now retired, Steve lives in Pleasant Hill with Jean, his wife. He writes a column and covers Southeast Polk High School sports for the Altoona Herald. He enjoys sports and has been a runner for close to 40 years. Jean and Steve have two children and four grandchildren.
