On June 18, 2011, Gandhi was 13 in India when two boys with acid changed her world while she rode her scooter. On that day, she said she died inside. Even somehow worse, the acid wasn’t even meant for her. Then in 2014, she moved to Cincinnati and she knew she was “where she needed to be.”
