On a remote trek to see the solar eclipse from a mountain, a friend suffered a stroke – spurring Kelley and fellow travelers to action as they worked, against the odds and terrain, to get Nancy to safety.
A native Iowan with degrees in both human and veterinary medicine, Kelley Donham worked for 40 years as a professor of public health. He lives near Iowa City and enjoys writing short stories, working on his farm and spending time with his wife, Jean, two sons, a grandson and dogs.
