Finding Hope: Addiction and Recovery: Dr. Jolomi Ikomi – ‘Batman Doctor’

Dr. Jolomi Ikomi - Cincinnati - November 16, 2016

Description

Growing up in Lagos, Nigeria, everyone in the family had a say in what Dr. Ikomi would go on to. Ikomi hated math, so he was “shoved into medicine.” At 17, Dr. Ikomi was robbed at gunpoint by a man (the gun was a machine gun) while walking to church in Lagos. That experience has stayed with Dr. Ikomi to the present and informed his path to addiction medicine specifically.
