The kitchen is where Malini connected with her mother, her culture and her passion. Since moving to Fort Collins in 2003, she's taught cooking classes at The Cupboard, Whole Foods and currently at The Cooking Studio in Old Town. When not working with food, she can be found at the Music District, dancing at a concert or walking her crazy corgi with her two daughters.

Alisha is the brand manager at Maxline Brewing and originally lived in Johnstown before moving to Fort Collins in 2009. Alisha started in the beverage and restaurant industry in 2011 at Fort Collins Brewery. She enjoys volunteering at FoCo Cafe, backpacking and visiting her boyfriend and his family in Chile. She will share a story about how an incident in food service facilitated an opportunity for growth personally and professionally.

Carolin is a communication and media studies scholar and currently teaches at Colorado State University. She grew up in Israel, where she worked as a professor, journalist and writer before moving to Fort Collins seven years ago. She loves writing, teaching and coaching individuals to their full potential. She will be sharing a story about her deep relationship with her home country through honey that she received from a Fort Collins friend after visiting Israel.

Chris is a social media professional in Fort Collins and is originally from Louisiana. Chris has a passion for craft beer, the outdoors, tennis, indie music and internet memes.

Jackie Brown

Jackie Brown

For the past two and a half years, Jackie has lived in Fort Collins and has worked in specialty coffee. When she's not at work, she's traveling, climbing, hiking and introducing her friends and family to her new puppy. Jackie will tell a story of what it's like to have an American staple — coffee — while abroad and how different one "simple" beverage can be in various countries.
